Parenthacks has another good post about using up leftover Halloween candy. My personal favorite is chopping it up and mixing it into ice cream. yum yum!

Four groups (10 kids?) visited our door, and we had a bowl full of candy leftover. At 8 p.m., we called over the last group of kids we saw on the street and unloaded our bowl into their bags. Hey, mom and dad won’t be tempted now.
The candy our 3-year-old collected earlier in the day from a community event was also in the bowl. We probably won’t get away with that next year, so we’re going to be hosting our own candy-free parties. I don’t mind candy on special occasions, but a mountain of candy that lasts for weeks? No thanks.
